The distances had multipled
And the days had passed,
Summing to a couple of years.
Conversations were briefer,
Nor were there meetings,
But , emotions were forever.

For when a trickle,
Goes down my cheeks
There you come,
Out of nowhere.
And as a smile ,
Lights my face,
I look for you,
And there you are.

You have made me realize
That no tear could flow
Nor smile could light up
Without you to share
By my side.
